Burgan Real Estate and YSU Extend Partnership

We’re excited to announce we are continuing on as a major partner of Youngstown State University (YSU) Athletics for this upcoming season.  We became the first-ever real estate agency to own the title of Official Real Estate Partner of YSU Athletics for the past two years.  The contract renewal will ensure that our brand and YSU Athletics will continue to help drive awareness, support, and attention to the University’s events, student-athletes and commitment to the community.

“We are excited to continue to partner with YSU Athletics,” said Patrick Burgan, President, and Co-owner of Burgan Real Estate.  “The relationship has grown into something bigger than we both thought was possible when we shook hands two years ago and we want to make it even better as we look towards what the future holds for our business and the athletic department at YSU.”

Co-owners of Burgan Real Estate, Patrick Burgan and Sue Filipovich, both earned their undergraduate degrees from Youngstown State University, which continues to make this partnership very special to both alumni.  Over the past two years, Burgan Real Estate has held several promotions and activations that has helped grow interest in the athletics program as well as their brand, earning the honors as being the fastest growing real estate brand in the Mahoning Valley in 2018, according to Yes-MLS data in Mahoning, Columbiana and Trumbull Counties for the 2018 calendar year.  This year, they are already ahead of the record-setting pace they had in 2018 and this official partnership is a part of theirs and the University’s ongoing strategy to grow the community and the athletic department.

“The Youngstown State University Department of Athletics is very happy to continue its partnership with our friends at Burgan Real Estate,” said Chris Sumner, Assistant Athletic Director for Youngstown State University. “It has been a pleasure to work with Sue and Patrick and we look forward to continuing our relationship for years to come, as they continue to be two of YSU’s biggest advocates throughout the year.”
