Burgan Real Estate has had a record setting year in 2018. Whether it was having the best month and quarter by volume in the company’s 40 plus year history or becoming the areas fastest growing real estate brand, Burgan Real Estate is at the top of the class. However, we are constant learners and want to get better. That’s why we are excited to bring on board someone who is used to teaching people a thing or two, Katie Clegg, as the newest member of our Burgan Bunch.
Katie, a former teacher at the Federal Bureau of Prisons, recently acquired her real estate agent license and is ready to move to the front of the class with Burgan. While she is new to the industry, this North Lima-native is ready to put her skills honed in the classroom to work for those looking for their new home. Katie and her husband, Jeff, have three sons, all of whom are married, as well as two “teacher’s pets,” her Labrador Retrievers, Buddy and Molly.
When she is not making the grade with Burgan Real Estate, Katie escapes in her books, which includes her favorite authors, John Grisham and David Badacci, though we hope closing deals won’t be as suspenseful as these thrilling writers.
For Katie, spending time with her family and friends is what she enjoys most, and if that happens to be on a beach in Aruba or camping in the wilderness, well you won’t hear a complaint from her. While “reading” is her favorite subject for her leisure time, we have to think Gym and Home Economics would be close behind, considering her love of walking/exercise as well as her passion for cooking…just NO SWEET POTATOES! She believes that laziness has no place in her classroom of life, which is a rule the entire Burgan Bunch can get behind. Katie said she’s, “one of those people,” who cheers for the Steelers and the Indians when it comes to professional sports but her heart is with Ohio State and YSU, which is great news for Burgan Real Estate who continues to be Official Real Estate Partner of YSU Athletics.
Well, Katie, class is officially in session for residents of the Mahoning Valley with you as our new Burgan Bunch member. We think we earned an A+ for landing you as our newest team member and look forward to having you as a member of our Burgan family.
